An Easy Way to Raise Funds For Your School

Traditionally schools fundraise with lollies and chocolate – but why not try fundraising with BOOST Maths? BOOST is a fun, educational and interactive Maths product. Kids love the unique reward games and parents love the improvements that BOOST Maths delivers.

With BOOST English available in August there is a complete fundraising product range to get started with. Why not start now and see the results?

As schools sign up to the program, we organise for a percentage of each parent's purchase through the BOOST online store to be given back to the participating school.

Go to www.pearsoned.com.au/BOOSTfundraising for details, or call Customer Care on 1800 656 685 to join the program.

FAQ and Technical Support

There are two simple options for support with BOOST. You can use our FAQ, or get phone assistance.

Step 1: FAQ
Our
FAQ Frequently Asked Questions covers all of problems you may encounter across a range of operating systems. This is a PDF file which you can search through using the search box in Acrobat Reader.

Step 2: Premium Phone Support.

To talk to one of our BOOST technical staff call 1902 215 464. (You must be in Australia to access this service) You’ll hear a brief messages advising that this service will be charged at 99c per minute and you’ll then be put through to one of staff who’ll assist you with your enquiry. Hours of operation 8:30am to 5:pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST)

Prepare your information before calling

Your call will be faster and cost you less if you gather a little information first. It’s very helpful if you know the kind of computer you are working on, how much memory it has and what operating system it is using. If you are experiencing a problem you need to be able to describe it accurately and fully so noting any messages that appear on screen or the point at which issues are experienced is very helpful.

Note: Please note that for this 1902 service, a nominal rate charged to the caller applies. Currently the rate is 99c per minute, higher for mobiles and pay phones. Please be aware that the nominal rate per minute may be subject to change.

A glowing endorsement

The BOOST series just received a glowing endorsement from the wonderful Associate Professor, Dr Kay Margetts, from the Faculty of Education at The University of Melbourne.
Student motivation begins with the rewards and incentives present in the classroom and in the home. BOOST provides a compelling strategy for actively engaging children and their parents in the learning process.

Thanks Kay!

How it works

BOOST is like no other workbook product on the market.

BOOST combines beautifully designed workbooks with innovative rewards software to motivate children to complete mathematics activities.
  • The activity does not finish on the printed page! The BOOST software has another 1-5 interactive activities based on the same activity from each page to extend a child's learning, developing mastery of concepts.
  • There are rewards! The correct answers on each page creates a Reward Code which unlocks reward time on cool games in the BOOST software.
With pages full of activities in each workbook and over 150+ interactive maths questions on each BOOST CD, children can pick their desired learning mode whilst parents can be assured that they are developing their maths skills in a fun and rewarding way.

BOOST Software

The integrated BOOST software sets this product apart from anything on the market.

BOOST Maths is the only educational product that comes with unique rewards software designed to motivate kids of today. The Reward Games are varied to appeal to all sorts of children and there are over 4,000 interactive maths questions across the series.

BOOST even allows parents to create and add their own ideas for rewards into the software and to set a correct answer target for earning the reward. Children can select the reward that their parent is offering (for example, a trip to the movies or a visit to the zoo) and answer our interactive BOOST maths questions in the software to earn the reward and print their reward certificate.

The combination of a BOOST workbook and CD means that BOOST provides double the questions of a traditional workbook, and double the value!

There are three books in each BOOST age level with over 140 pages of practice questions in print, and an extra 150+ interactive questions in the BOOST software for each of the three books at each age level.

Retailer and International Licensing Information

BOOST will take the book retailing world by storm...

BOOST will be available to all retailers as a series, or as individual titles. BOOST will be backed by innovative marketing campaigns in the second half of 2007 after a release in August.

To express an interest in retailing BOOST, contact arthur dot baker at pearsoned.com.au. Australian pricing and order sheets will be available soon for pre-orders.

BOOST is also available for international licensing by other publishers. The first to market in each country will see BOOST change the landscape in your bookstores.

BOOST was developed for a worldwide audience and content is already aligned for international markets. As BOOST provides a major innovation and shake-up to the home activity book market, the selection of key distribution partners in international markets will involve an analysis of the distributor's capability to deliver value on BOOST's innovations.
